2. Hosting

This website and all associated streaming and panel services are hosted at:
Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany.
Processing takes place on servers within the EU. A Data Processing Agreement is in place pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

3. Data collected & purpose

When filling out the contact form we collect: name, email address, the topic you select, and your message. This data is used to respond to your inquiry and is stored in our database. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (initiation of a contractual relationship) or (f) (legitimate interest in responding to contact requests).

When using the customer portal (broadcast.dgnshop.com) we collect: name, email address, and an encrypted password (Argon2id hash). Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (contract performance).

When using the streaming service, technical data such as IP address, selected format (MP3/OGG), and connection duration are briefly logged for operational reasons (abuse prevention, statistics). Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest).

Server log files: every visit to this website automatically stores data such as IP address, browser type, date/time, and accessed page in log files. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in security). Retention: 7 days.

4. Cookies

We use exclusively technically necessary cookies:

• Session cookie (dgn_panel_sid): used for login to the customer portal. Expires after 12 hours or when you log out.

These cookies do not require consent (§ 25 (2) TTDSG, German implementation of the ePrivacy Directive). We do not use any tracking, no analytics, and no advertising cookies.

5. Web Analytics

We perform no web tracking. No software such as Google Analytics, Matomo, Facebook Pixel, or similar is used. Only the server log files mentioned above are kept, which are automatically deleted after 7 days.

6. Email Dispatch

For sending system emails (password reset, contact form notifications) we use our own SMTP server on our Hetzner infrastructure. Emails are DKIM-signed. No email content is transmitted to third parties (no Google, Microsoft, SendGrid, or similar).

7. Payment Processing

DGNCast is currently in its development/Early-Access phase. No payment processing takes place yet. Once paid offerings are available, processing will be handled via a GDPR-compliant payment service provider. This privacy policy will be updated accordingly.

8. Sharing with Third Parties

Your data is not shared with third parties except where necessary for contract performance (e.g. hosting provider Hetzner as a data processor) or where we are legally obliged to do so.

9. Retention Period

Contact inquiries are stored for a maximum of 24 months if no contractual relationship arises.
Customer data is stored for the duration of the business relationship. After termination, tax-relevant data is kept for 10 years (§ 147 AO, German Fiscal Code). Data no longer needed is deleted.
