If a DJ only sends silence (mic muted, cable pulled, fader down), the server notices on its own and switches to the AutoDJ after a configurable time. Together with the connection watchdog your stream never stays stuck in silence, even when the connection is technically still up.

The server pings you the moment something goes wrong: DJ connection dropped, stream completely offline or disk space running low. Via email, Telegram or Discord, with a test-message button. You learn about problems before your listeners do. Off by default, set up in a minute.

A button in the panel checks from the outside whether your broadcast ports are really open, exactly the way a DJ program or a listener reaches them. You find the most common cause of connection trouble yourself in seconds, with plain-text hints for Plesk. No more guessing why a DJ can't connect.

Give each DJ fixed broadcast hours (weekdays plus time). Outside their slot they can't get on the stream and see a clear message with their times. When their slot starts, they automatically take over from whoever's slot has ended. DJs without hours broadcast anytime, as before.

Switching server or host? In the panel you enter the old server's credentials, press one button, and the whole stack moves over automatically: streams, source passwords, your full music library, the license and all settings, with live progress. No manual copying back and forth.

When you add another stream you can choose: an additional mount on your existing server (lean, shares the resources) or a completely separate streaming server with its own port and process, fully isolated from the rest. Created and removed at the press of a button.

When the stream drops (Wi-Fi hiccup, ISP glitch, server restart) the Studio reconnects automatically. Exponential backoff (1s, 2s, 4s, 8s, 16s, 30s max) with configurable initial delay per profile (0 to 60s for DJ handovers).

The server keeps a 10-second buffer between transcoder and listener delivery. On short source dropouts, listener connections don't drop, the player doesn't show "offline". MP3 decoders stay in sync.

On reconnect with known session ID, the server transcoder simply continues. No OGG header reset, no new stream intro, no listener buffer loss. 30s grace window, then regular teardown.

If your DJ software doesn't send titles automatically: type it in the Studio field, hit Enter, title is set. Works with all protocols (Icecast Admin API + Shoutcast admin.cgi). Auto port conversion for Shoutcast v1.

All credentials (URL, mount, password/API key, bitrate, station name, reconnect delay) stored locally. Multiple named profiles: Morning Show, Prime Time, Automation. Last profile auto-loads on app start.

The Studio can stream over https:// / wss://. For corporate networks with blocked non-443 ports or TLS-only hosters. Native TLS via the system cert store.

For DNAS 2 servers hosting multiple streams on one port (SID 1, 2, 3...): configurable SID field in the Studio. Irrelevant for single-stream servers, just leave it empty.

The panel shows the actual bitrate your DJ is currently sending (from Ice-Bitrate/icy-br header). No longer the hardcoded config value. Switch mid-broadcast from 128 to 192, the panel updates instantly.

The Studio writes your Opus stream as a playable .opus file (Ogg container). Listen back without extra software (VLC, ffplay, foobar2000 all handle it directly).
